hey guys,

sorry this was posted late! i've been up in auckland and only just got the chance to post these.

here's a couple of photo's from our red carpet night honouring the volunteers at changepoint on saturday night.

so this week i started a detox. just to cleanse my body out and get rid of all the bad toxins and things stored in my body. it's hard work but i feel so much healthier. this will also be the longest i have gone without eating candy in over a year i think so it's good!

i feel like God has been revealing new things to me through this detox as well. instead of eating in all my spare time i get to play my guitar to him, read my bible, go for longer walks and just listen to God. but more importantly, through this all i have been asking for God's strength because he is the most powerful one after all right? he is my ultimate strength in all i do.

so i have been spending time just meditating on his power and strength. knowing he satisfies me more than anything else is enough. letting his love invade my life each day is such a beautiful thing. psalm 63 has been a great psalm this week.

i also got a hair cut on monday. the shortest it has ever been (my dad says i probably had more hair on my head when i was born than i do now..slightly sarcastic)

so i'll let you see my hair cut. i took the photo's on photo booth so they are bad but you get the idea of my cut :)

last friday i went out with alissa and miley and took some photo's. there's are like 500 photo's and got less than 100 good one's since she cried most of the time. they are both so beautiful. here's a couple of shots.

a van load of us took a trip to waihi in the weekend and i brought along my dad's super old and awesome film camera that he bought in the 80's for a lot of money. sadly the film was exposed to the sun so the film didn't work out. i'm so bummed!

here's to the new season

i've had so many people ask/tell me to start posting on my blogspot again! so i figured since it is now a new season (spring), i will start posting when i can.

a lot of people want me to post recipe's of treats that i enjoy making for people so i will be digging through my recipe books and my creative mind.

coming up i will post a red velvet cheesecake brownie and a very simple oreo truffle recipe that seem to be quite the hit.

but for now i must go and eat some fruit. here's a picture of a beautiful tree from this morning.

happy august people! i can already tell it's going to be a good one.

my parents celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary tomorrow! great way to start a wonderful month. there are already baby calves, lambs and daffodils springing up in the fields.
